Assistant Residential Manager
MUST BE HIGHLY FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS and AVAILABLE FOR ON-CALL RESPONSIBILITIES.
The Assistant Residential Manager is responsible for providing direct care and to support the manager in the overall running of the home, including staffing, and associated day programs.
This home has four (4) residents – 4 active young men who have occasional behaviors.
Duties include:

Providing direct care to the agency residents
-
Assisting with oversight and supervision of staff

Promotes the development and retention of a homelike environment, including being a role model
-
Oversight and direction of all planned services to residents
-
Maintenance of accurate records as they relate to the operations of the house, services provided to residents, supervision of staff

Participation in required meetings
-
Assistance with on-call coverage for the home
Qualifications Include:
-
H.S diploma or equivalent required. BS/BA preferred in a human services field
-
1 years of experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities required.

Prior experience working with individuals with autism and behaviors required.
-
Prior management responsibility, including staff supervision preferred.
-
Use of a personal vehicle in order to perform assigned duties is required.

Obtain and maintain certifications in CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration.

Must have well-developed organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and computer software
