Program Director

MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS and AVAILABLE FOR ON-CALL RESPONSIBILITIES.

The Program Director is responsible for providing quality assurance and oversite to residential programs and associated day program operations inclusive of program development, regulatory compliance, and employee training.

This position has oversight of four (4) residences.

​Duties include, but are not limited to:​​​

  • Supervises program managers in 4 (four) agency locations.
  • Read and provide feedback on reports prepared by managers
  • Oversee the administrative aspects of program implementation.
  • Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements.
  • Maintains an active presence in all program sites for the purpose of conducting quality review audits.
  • Develops and maintains positive, cooperative working relationships with DDS personnel while serving as a liaison to DDS Quality Monitors, Safety Monitors, and Licensing Inspectors.
  • Participates in rotating 24-hour on-call administration coverage for the agency.
  • Ensures program operations and activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.

Qualifications Include:

  • BA/BS degree in Special Education, Social Work, Rehabilitation Serves, Psychology or related disciplines; master’s degree preferred.
  • 3 years of work experience with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, with at least two (2) years experience managing a CLA required. Five (5) years experience managing a CLA may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with autism and behaviors preferred.
  • Current/valid driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance. Use of a personal vehicle to perform assigned duties is required.
  • Must have well-developed organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and computer software
