Residential Manager
MUST BE HIGHLY FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS and AVAILABLE FOR ON-CALL RESPONSIBILITIES.
The Residential Manager is responsible for the overall running of the home, including staffing, and associated day programs.
This home has four (4) residents – 2 men and 2 women with autism and behaviors.
Duties include:
- Oversight and supervision of staff
- Coordination and provision of medical services
- Promotes the development and retention of a homelike environment, including being a role model
- Oversight and direction of all planned services to residents
- Maintenance of accurate records as they relate to the operations of the house, services provided to residents, supervision of staff
- Participation in required meetings
- Assistance with on-call coverage for the home
Qualifications Include:
- BS/BA required in a human services field
- 3 years of experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities required.
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism and behaviors required.
- Prior management responsibility, including staff supervision preferred.
- Use of a personal vehicle to perform assigned duties is required.
- Obtain and maintain certifications in CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration.
- Must have well-developed organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and computer software
